No reviews for Deinonychus yet? Seriously?

Come on guys, its freakin’ Deinonychus!
Possibly the most iconic dinosaur of the dinosaur renaissance!
    Its THE raptor!

Anyways, solid figure. Well worth the price tag, the box art by Gabriel Uguerto is awesome.
    I love this figure!

This Deinonychus antirrhopus figure is a fantastic representation of the real dinosaur that inspired the ‘Velociraptors’ in Jurassic Park. While the movie popularized the name Velociraptor, the animals on screen were actually modeled after Deinonychus — larger, more robust, and far closer to what you see here. The sculpt captures that iconic predatory stance, making it feel instantly familiar to anyone who grew up with the films, yet it’s scientifically accurate to the real species.

The articulation and paintwork bring out its dynamic presence, and it stands as both a display centerpiece and a subtle correction to pop culture history. For collectors, this isn’t just another raptor — it’s the true raptor behind the legend. The purple mouth detail adds a striking touch of character.

The collector card shows perfectly conveys how terrifying an encounter with this predator would have been for any unlucky prey.

Love this little guy! I am a huge fan of flashy, wild color schemes, but there is just something so naturally beautiful about the more naturalistic (in modern terms at least) colors of this figure. I will also be getting the Cyberzoic version at some point, but I honestly doubt I am going to love it as much as this one.

Awesome, just awesome. The articulation is excellent, just be sure to let the plastic warm up a bit before moving, I can see how fragile it could be. Also, the tail is rubber over wire!!! I thought it was just a stiff plastic tail, this is so much better. I am definitely getting more of these critters to populate my house.

This figure is such a joy to play with. I keep it in my desk and just mess with it in my free time.

I almost skipped on getting this little guy in favour of the more colourful Cyberzoic version, but I’m glad I changed my mind and got both. This is a great midpoint between the scales seen in the 1/6th and 1/18th velociraptors, having an impressive degree of both poseability and detail for the size.
