Einiosaurus procurvicornis 1/18th scale Dinosaur Action Figure

(buffalo lizard)

Known for its unusual nasal horn, procurvicornis means ‘forward curving horn’. Einiosaurus is thought to represent an intermediate stage of centrosaurines, in between those with a straight nasal horn and those with a blunt nasal boss, i.e. Pachyrhinosaurus. This ceratopsian figure measures 10 in. long and has 19 points of articulation. Includes collectible trading card, unique background display insert and instruction sheet. Packaging features red-foil printing with package art by Raul Ramos.

Recommended for ages 15 and up.

  1. MICHAEL M.

A beautiful paint application and BoM’s amazing articulation make this one come to life so well.

    Perfect

Einiosaurus is one of my favorite ceratopsians, and this one is absolutely beautiful. The colors (grey, black, and rusty red) are muted, but very naturalistic and attractive, with a nice hint of blue on the nasal horn. The articulation is very fluid, with a great range of motion. The sculpt is beautiful, and I cannot stop looking at it. If you have some of the more brightly colored ceratopsians, I’d recommend picking this one up for a good bit of variety.

This was my first Ceratopsian from creative beast studios, and I simply couldn’t be any happier with it!
It’s pretty bulky, has great articulation, and the paint job is great.

  5. Michael F.

My girlfriend insisted that I order this Einiosaurus procurvicornis, and upon arrival I was truly blown away by the coloring. It features a brilliant mix of hues that contrast beautifully, with striping that makes the figure stand out even more. This is a wonderful example of an under?represented species (despite being well documented in paleontology), and I could not recommend it highly enough.

The included collector card is equally impressive, depicting an individual on alert by a stream with a majestic mountain backdrop under an overcast sky. It perfectly captures the subtle highlights that make this species so striking.

Very beautifully detailed figure, however, mine came with one front leg slightly longer than the other which causes the figure to be very unstable when standing. The joints were very stiff as well, and when dipping the figure in hot water to loosen them as the website says, the body filled with water and is leaking.

I got mine as of now 1 1/2 days ago, the joints were stiff but weren’t impossible but putting it in hot water for awhile fixed the super stiff ankles and right knee, the tail really didn’t need hot water as it popped on relatively easy but not without some force, the articulation is great, overall larger than I expected, I wish the jaw articulation was more like the Triceratops and Torosaurus and the majority of the other ceratopsian series but the details and paint are great

  8. Britt B.

This dude ROCKS!!!! He’s small, has nice colors, good sculpt, and is SO CHEAP. I fail to see why anyone would not immediately add this little guy to their collection.

  9. David C.

I didn’t like the horns but the articulation wow its probably the lost dynamic ceratopsian its mold can work for a 1/35 trike

  10. Aiden G.

This is absolutely amazing, and while the nasal horn had popped off in shipping, i easaly fixed it with some super glue, still a shame that it happened, but aside from that this guy is amazing, well worth what I spent on him!
