Regaliceratops peterhewsi- 1/18th scale Dinosaur Action Figure

(royal horned face)

Named for its ornate crown-like frill, Regaliceratops is closely related to Triceratops. The skull was first found by Peter Hews (hence the species name) and was nicknamed ‘Hellboy’ for its difficulty in being excavated from the surrounding rock matrix.   This ceratopsian figure measures 10.5 in. long and has 20 points of articulation. Includes collectible trading card, unique background display insert and instruction sheet. Packaging features red-foil printing with package art by Raul Ramos.

Recommended for ages 15 and up.

    This Regaliceratops peterhewsi is a standout choice for anyone seeking a midsized ceratopsian in striking orange tones. The coloring around the eyes is especially appealing, and the bright orange palette feels perfectly suited to an animal nicknamed ‘Hellboy.’ Its frill and horn anatomy are highly distinctive compared to its relative Triceratops, making it a unique addition to any display.

    My only minor critique is the depiction of the nose horn curving downward, which doesn’t align with the current holotype. That said, it hardly detracts from my enjoyment of the figure.

    The included collector card is another highlight, portraying a large individual confidently moving through the darker hours of the day — a powerful and atmospheric scene that complements the figure beautifully.

    This figure is selpt on.

    Maybe because the porportions feel odd? His head is so much larger than his tail, or legs. Huge head, little horns.. I don’t know if it is accurate, but I love it. It feels almost cartoony compared to the rest of the line. But it’s made it stand out in a fun way in my collection. I have almost all the Ceratopsians, and I keep getting drawn back to this one. I wouldn’t change a thing.
