Today we take a look at the next paint sample figure in the Beasts of the Mesozoic: Ceratopsian Series, wave 2- Avaceratops! Which I’ve come to nickname ‘Avocado’. 🙂

Just finished painting the 1/35 Beasts of the Mesozoic Tyrannosaurus rex! During this process, I decided to switch out the base I’d originally planned to use (see the resin prototype images) for this flatter base which was originally going to be used with the juvenile T-rex. Today we finally get a look at the finished color design for the Beasts of the Mesozoic Tyrannosaurus Rex adult action figure! This will be offered at both the 1/35th scale and the 1/18th scale. Colors were inspired by the Earless Monitor Lizard.
3D printed T-rex sculpt!
We get our first look today at the printed parts for the Beasts of the Mesozoic 1/35th scale T-rex sculpt, courtesy of Raul Ramos. The total length measures about 14″ and was sculpted by Jake Baardse. Next up to print, the big 27″, 1/18th scale version!
