Beasts of the Mesozoic/ Cenozoic ‘Stegosaurus’ wave update
STATUS UPDATE: While it’s been great to ship out two rounds of new items recently, it’s never fun to have to announce delays. And that’s the case today, as I’ve received word from the factory that the Beasts of the Mesozoic/ Cenozoic ‘Stegosaurus’ wave will need more time to complete, with a factory completion date now expected on January 17th. This delay was a result of two things- tooling adjustments for Andrewsarchus and Pachycephalosaurus, and also extra time needed for the complex paint apps and other paint adjustments. Shown here are the main issues recently with the actual notes from our end. The test shots shown are the corrected versions after the tooling adjustments. And additional challenge is that while I still want to fulfill all of the preorders from China, it will depend on several variables at the time of completion, such as the duty-free shipping costs in China (which tend to fluctuate) and how that measures against the tariff rate here in the US (which also tends to fluctuate) plus our own shipping costs. Shipping from China would reduce the wait time for customers by about 4-6 weeks, but if the cost difference is too high, it won’t be a viable option, unfortunately.
And I know that many of you are also interested about the status of the Cybezoic wave B2 armors and riders, and I have received word that those will need more time as well, likely shipping a few weeks after the Stego wave, just ahead of Chinese New Year. I’m awaiting more details about that next week which will be the main subject of a new Cyberzoic Kickstarter update, where I’ll go into more detail. With all of this in mind, I will be adjusting the estimated delivery dates for these preorders to ‘1st quarter 2026’ since it’s hard to determine a more specific date at this time. But I will be keeping everyone up-to-date as I receive more information.
I hope all of those who have preordered will bear with us a little longer- we’re getting so close now and everything is looking amazing. Ultimately, please know that I’ll always do what I can to get these out to everyone as soon as possible without compromising the quality.
