Beasts of the Mesozoic Tyrannosaur Series Inspiration Board
I recently showed a selection of modern reptiles that I’m looking at for color inspiration on the Beasts of the Mesozoic Tyrannosaur Series and several people asked how that would translate for the feathered Tyrannosaurs. Indeed for these species I’ll be looking to the birds once again for ideas, and here are the birds I’ve selected as inspiration for those figures! (I’ll let the specific assignments be a surprise.)
This design process is a culmination of the previous two series, looking to both reptiles and birds for color/ pattern ideas. This will be fun!
