The final piece of the upcoming Beasts of the Mesozoic “T. rex” wave has officially been revealed!
During a recent live stream, we shared the completed color design for the 1/35 scale Tyrannosaurus rex, giving fans their first look at the striking paint scheme planned for this exciting addition to the Beasts of the Mesozoic lineup.
Inspired by the Blue Lace Monitor
The color inspiration for this Tyrannosaurus rex comes from an unexpected but incredibly fitting modern animal: the blue lace monitor lizard.
Known for its distinctive combination of dark tones, intricate patterning, and beautiful blue coloration, the blue lace monitor provided the perfect inspiration for creating a unique and visually striking T. rex design.
The result is a dinosaur color scheme that feels grounded in the natural world while still giving this legendary prehistoric predator its own distinctive personality.
The Final Reveal of the “T. rex” Wave
This newly revealed Tyrannosaurus rex design represents the final piece of the Beasts of the Mesozoic “T. rex” wave to be unveiled.
