Cyberzoic Dragonslayer error fixes and replacement info
One of the great things about going out to shows and meeting the fans is the in-person feedback that we receive about our products. And while we of course love the praise, it’s the problems people mention that we really pay attention to. Case in point, our recent Cyberzoic Dragonslayer release has some errors that were not prevalent on the final approved samples, which is as frustrating for us as everyone affected. So much time was put into this set to get everything just right, and after the fifth prototype, it seemed to be perfect! But when the final production copies went out into the world, there were two key issues that were discovered, neither of which were a problem previously- one you all surely know about, and another that you may not have realized. The one that several fans have mentioned to me is that the helmet will not connect in the front, and the other not-so-obvious error is that the side brackets were misassembled, causing the rear of the vehicle to be less stable than intended. I’ve come up with a solution for both issues in these photos.
But for those less crafty, I will also be getting replacement parts made for these pieces by the factory. But the new parts likely won’t be ready for about another month, so in the meantime if you want to make the fixes yourself, here are the steps.
I’m very sorry for these issues and a post like this should never be necessary, but I intend to make it right as quickly as possible. I’m also including links below to our assembly videos for anyone who may find them useful. This is our most complicated Cyberzoic armor, but myself and our crew can attest that it does work and after the first assembly attempts, it’s quite satisfying. Hey Creative Beast team. I finally bit the bullet and took my Allo and the armour out. I’m having the same issues with the helmet pegs as described above but I also have duplicates (not mirror versions) of the large guns that are supposed to go into the bottom hole on the belly band. So when attached they are not the same orientation and it’s driving me nuts. What are my next steps?
