The first and only ceratopsid discovered in China, Sinoceratops is known for its forward-curving hornlets which gave the frill a crown-like appearance. Though classified as a centrosaurine, Sinoceratops has several features that are similar to chasmosaurines. This ceratopsian figure measures 16 in. long and has 20 points of articulation. Includes collectible trading card, unique background display insert and instruction sheet. Packaging features red-foil printing with package art by Raul Ramos.
Recommended for ages 15 and up.

It is nice to see a model that is accurate to the holotype skull fossil. That’s what really drove me to purchase this figure, and when I received it, I was not disappointed.
Like all production figures the painting is not as crisp as the prototype, but it is very nice considering how detailed and complicated the paint design is. The colors look great in person, very natural (it may just be my computer, but they look a little too bright/saturated on screen).
Posing is good and joints hold up well. The tail went on pretty easy with help from the instructions.
Really a great buy and I’m always happy to support small businesses, especially from US artists.

Starting my BOTM collecting journey later than most, I was disappointed to learn that the Styracosaurus figures I originally wanted were already sold out. Thankfully, the Sinoceratops zhuchengensis was still available, offering the closest phylogenetic alternative I could attain. It proved to be an excellent choice.
At 1/18th scale, this figure is large, imposing, and immediately commands attention on the shelf. The species has a distinctive appearance, and the sculpt captures that uniqueness beautifully, setting it apart even from its closest relatives. The coloration is one of its strongest qualities, blending earthy tones with vibrant yet natural greens that enhance the figure’s presence being based off of the Chinese crocodile lizard.
The included collector card depicts a magnificent scene that evokes the feeling of witnessing a primordial moment in deep time. My only complaint is that the card is an awkward 3.75 inches tall instead of the standard 3.5 inch size, which has made it difficult to find a proper sleeve or storage solution.
This piece stands out in all the right ways on my display, both for its scientific character and its striking visual appeal. For collectors who missed out on other ceratopsians, the Sinoceratops zhuchengensis is a rewarding and impressive addition.

The color scheme on it is really appealing to look at, its like a down to earth foresty camo color which is really neat! The sculpt itself is also great along with all the details on it. The only complaint I have about the figure is where the base of the neck connects to the shoulders, there’s a really big and noticeable gap. I assume that’s so the figure can articulate its neck and not have really bad range of motion. Personally for me its not really that big of a deal and I don’t mind it but I can see how some people may dislike the figure for it but I absolutely love it. No regrets at all in my purchase!
