Xenoceratops foremostensis- 1/18th scale Dinosaur Action Figure

 

The first ceratopsian described from the Foremost Formation, Xenoceratops was also the oldest known ceratopsian in Canada at the time of its discovery. Its name ‘xenos’ means alien or foreign, a reference to the lack of ceratopsian species from that area. This ceratopsian figure measures 14 in. long and has 20 points of articulation. Includes collectible trading card, unique background display insert and instruction sheet. Packaging features red-foil printing with package art by Raul Ramos.

Recommended for ages 15 and up.

    I have purchased alost all of the Ceratopsians. And if I were to recommend one under $100, this is probably it. Great sculpt, fun articulation, and the creature looks very capable. It has a large size (not the largest in the line, but among the second largest). It is reminiscent of a classic Triceratops. When I pull one of the Ceratops off the shelf to mess around with, it’s often this one. I think it is a solid choice.

    This Xenoceratops foremostensis is truly a giant brute. I had a hard time deciding which of the available 14-inch ceratopsian figures would best fill that size gap in my collection, and I’m glad I chose this one. Its coloration manages to be subdued yet still flashy, and the size combined with its striking horn orientations makes it a remarkable presence on the shelf. This is also the first representation of this species I’ve ever owned, which makes it even more special.

    The collector card artwork is one of my favorites, depicting a hulking individual casually bathing its front limbs in a river. My only complaint is the card size — I was sent a 3.75-inch tall card, which is unfortunately just too large to fit into standard penny sleeves or my card binder. Still, the art itself is fantastic and adds to the overall presentation.
