Teratophoneus is known only from the remains of juvenile
specimens, with adult size estimates of up to 8.7m (29 ft) in length. Teratophoneus is notable for its blunt skull which likely allowed for stronger jaw muscles. It shared its environment with Utahceratops, Kosmoceratops, and Nasutoceratops.
