Today we take a look at the full reveal of the first physical sculpt for the Beasts of the Mesozoic: Tyrannosaur Series- the 1/18th juvenile Tyrannosaurus Rex action figure sculpt!
A few facts about this figure: it’s 100% hand sculpted in castilene and wax: it measures about 12″ in length, very similar to the Raptor series figures; the main reference for this was the ‘Jane’ specimen; the base shown here is not the final base, though it will come with a stand similar to this; there will also be two additional sets of feet for running and flat foot poses.
This will be one of the initial offerings for the Tyrannosaur Series Kickstarter planned for next spring!
