  1. Please don’t use the “Spino was a crocodile!” build. Paleontologists of any repute have dismissed it as a chimera; it was pieced together from 5 different fossils, which is not accurate at all and scientifically disavowed. No one is saying close relatives like Baryonx was suddenly a crocodile, it’s a normal looking theropod, no question about Baryonx, but Spino is a crocodile? None of it’s closest relatives have a croc build?
Scott Hartman has an excellent article on why the Spino croc build is, well, a crock. I’m pretty I’ve seen Creative Beast use Hartman’s work to make their figures. I would really like to see a Spino as a theropod, but that Spino croc build is just popular, not scientifically accurate. I hate that I have to admit Jurassic Park’s Spinosaurus was actually more scientifically accurate than the croc build.

  2. I believe that David has sculpted some of the most accurate renditions of dinosaurs I have ever seen which is an impressive feat of Its own but he definitely puts in a lot of time and effort into finding the most accurate references to work off of. These figures are a work of art, the creative beast crew are best of the best when it comes to what they do, they put a ton of time and effort into these figures and they are truly amazing. The silhouette looks perfect and I am beyond excited for this figure. I feel honored to own a BOTM figure, its like owning the Mona Lisa , I fully trust David and the rest of the Creative Beast team to make this the most awesome figure ever.

  3. I honestly cannot wait!!! I’ve been wanting something like this for years now, Cannot WAIT. (Please do build it how it looks In the picture, I really love that model In specific, And make It as articulated as possible, I would definitely buy It.)
