Epic NEWS and RELEASES! Creative Beasts episode 34 RECAP

There was a lot to unpack in Creative Beasts Episode 34, with major updates for Beasts of the Mesozoic and Cyberzoic collectors! From upcoming releases and returning fan-favorite figures to a closer look at the new T. rex, Cyberzoic developments, and our massive 10th Anniversary celebration, this episode was loaded with news.

If you missed the full livestream, here’s a recap of some of the biggest Creative Beast Studio news and releases from Episode 34.

Jungle Saber and Atomic Allosaurus Release Update

First up, we have an update following MOTUFest!

The remaining Cyberzoic Zora Kett and Jungle Saber sets will be heading to the website along with the remaining Atomic Allosaurus stock.

The Atomic Allosaurus figures have already arrived at the warehouse, and we also have a good supply of Jungle Saber sets available.

These releases give collectors who weren’t able to join us at MOTUFest another opportunity to add them to their collections.

Beasts of the Mesozoic Acro Wave Shipping Update

We also have an important update on the highly anticipated Beasts of the Mesozoic Acro Wave.

The shipment is officially on the water and is currently expected to reach the U.S. port on October 22nd. The shipment was delayed by approximately 10 days after the original booking was bumped and had to be moved to a later sea freight shipment.

Based on the current schedule, we’re expecting U.S. fulfillment of the Acro Wave to begin during the last week of October.

We’re getting closer!

A Closer Look at the New Beasts of the Mesozoic T. rex

Episode 34 also gave us a much better look at the latest Beasts of the Mesozoic T. rex prototype.

Until now, this version had primarily been shown inside the display case at JoeFest. This time, we were able to show detailed photos of the prototype and take a much closer look at the finished color design.

One of the most striking features is the combination of the darker facial pattern, red coloration, and those piercing green eyes.

But the improvements aren’t limited to the paint scheme.

The new T. rex has significantly improved jaw articulation, with the mouth capable of opening to approximately 55 degrees. That’s wide enough for the T. rex to get its jaws around the neck of a Triceratops!

Combined with the updated articulation and sculpt, this new version is shaping up to be one impressive rex.

Classic Beasts of the Mesozoic Figures Are Coming Back

We also had some big news for collectors who missed out on earlier Beasts of the Mesozoic releases.

They’re coming back!

A selection of previously released figures is returning, and several are receiving upgrades rather than simply being reproduced exactly as they were before.

The Brown Utahraptor is receiving the newer elbow articulation, while Lythronax and Bistahieversor are being updated with the improved ankle design.

Pachyrhinosaurus and Diabloceratops will also receive wire tails.

Select figures will include display stand upgrades, and dinosaurs that were originally part of family-series releases will receive updated packaging.

The current goal is to have these returning figures available in time for the holiday season, with preorders planned to go live after the Acro Wave arrives.

It’s a great opportunity for newer collectors to finally pick up some of the figures that have been unavailable for quite some time.

New Cyberzoic Paint Samples and Armor

There was plenty of Cyberzoic news in Episode 34 as well.

We showed off new paint samples and continued development on upcoming figures and armor, including a look at how the designs are progressing from early test shots toward their final production versions.

Some details are still being adjusted, but the latest samples provide a much better idea of how the finished characters will look.

We also showed off more of the armor designs and their functionality, including features such as harness systems, weapons, and even a telescoping chest-mounted gun.

These aren’t just decorative details, either. Elements of the armor tie directly into the expanding Cyberzoic storyline. One of the armor designs, for example, incorporates a stone from the Arctic that powers the character’s jetpack.

As the figures, armor, packaging, and story continue coming together, the Cyberzoic universe is getting bigger with every new wave.

Celebrating 10 Years of Beasts of the Mesozoic

It’s hard to believe, but Beasts of the Mesozoic is celebrating its 10th anniversary!

To commemorate a decade of dinosaur action figures, we’ve created something special: the Beasts of the Mesozoic 10th Anniversary Dinosaur Field Guide Poster.

The Field Guide brings together every Beasts of the Mesozoic figure from the first ten years of the line.

The artwork was created to match the illustrated style used for the early Beasts of the Mesozoic dinosaur color designs. New illustrations were created for later species so the entire collection could be presented together as one enormous, unified field guide.

It represents months of work and offers an incredible look at just how much Beasts of the Mesozoic has grown over the past decade.

Turn the Field Guide Into Your BotM Collection Checklist

There’s another fun feature hidden within the poster.

Each dinosaur includes a hollow footprint that collectors can fill in, essentially turning the poster into a giant Beasts of the Mesozoic collection checklist.

As you collect the different figures, you can mark off their footprints and see just how much of the series you’ve completed.

The poster is available in two sizes: 18″ × 24″ and a massive 36″ × 48″ version for collectors who really want to show off a decade of Beasts of the Mesozoic history.

New Beasts of the Mesozoic Formation Shirts

The 10th Anniversary celebration doesn’t stop with the poster.

We’re also introducing new Beasts of the Mesozoic formation shirts, grouping dinosaurs according to some of the famous prehistoric formations they come from.

The collection includes designs based around the Hell Creek Formation, Dinosaur Park Formation, and Yixian Formation.

Each shirt features a smaller Beasts of the Mesozoic logo on the front with the larger formation artwork on the back.

And eagle-eyed fans may even notice a little surprise hiding among the dinosaurs!

What’s Coming Next for Creative Beast?

Episode 34 gave collectors a lot to look forward to.

The Acro Wave is on its way. Classic Beasts of the Mesozoic figures are returning with new upgrades. The latest T. rex is showing off some impressive articulation. New Cyberzoic characters and armor continue moving toward production, and our 10th Anniversary celebration is bringing together a decade of Beasts of the Mesozoic history.

And then there was that final reveal…

Let’s just say we’re already working on some very exciting things for 2027.

This little guy represents another new direction for the line, and we can’t wait to show you more.
