Creative Beast LIVE Episode 34 Recap – T. rex, Spinosaurus, BotM Reissues & More!

Creative Beast LIVE Episode 34 was packed with Beasts of the Mesozoic and Cyberzoic news, including new prototype reveals, production and shipping updates, returning fan-favorite figures, 10th Anniversary merchandise, and even a few surprises!

The Creative Beast team also returned from an incredible weekend at MOTUFest, where fans got an early opportunity to pick up the Cyberzoic Zora Kett and Jungle Saber exclusive.

If you missed the livestream, here’s a look at some of the biggest reveals and updates from Episode 34.

MOTUFest Recap and Cyberzoic Exclusives

The team kicked things off with a look back at MOTUFest, including photos from the event and some of the adventures surrounding the trip.

One of the highlights was the Cyberzoic Zora Kett and Jungle Saber exclusive, which made its debut at the show.

For those who couldn’t attend MOTUFest, the remaining Jungle Saber sets are coming to the Creative Beast website, along with the remaining stock of the Atomic Allosaurus.

Beasts of the Mesozoic Acro Wave Shipping Update

We also have an important update for collectors waiting for the latest Beasts of the Mesozoic Acro Wave.

The shipment is currently on the water and is expected to reach the U.S. port on October 22nd after the sea freight booking was delayed by approximately ten days.

Based on the current schedule, U.S. fulfillment is expected to begin during the final week of October.

The team also showed off production samples from the wave and discussed some of the advances in articulation featured on the latest figures.

A Beasts of the Mesozoic Spinosaurus Is Coming!

Yes, you read that correctly.

During Episode 34, the team confirmed that Spinosaurus aegyptiacus is planned for 2027!

There isn’t much more to reveal just yet, but this gives Beasts of the Mesozoic collectors another major theropod to look forward to next year.

New Beasts of the Mesozoic T. rex Prototype

Episode 34 also gave fans a much closer look at another Tyrannosaurus rex prototype from the upcoming Beasts of the Mesozoic T. rex assortment.

Previously shown in a display case, the prototype could finally be seen up close, revealing its striking red coloration, dark facial markings, green eyes, and updated articulation.

One particularly significant improvement is the jaw articulation. While the original T. rex release opened its mouth approximately 33 degrees, the new version is designed to open to approximately 55 degrees while maintaining the natural appearance of the sculpt.

The figure will also feature articulated feet and improved neck articulation, allowing for an even wider variety of poses.

Fan-Favorite Beasts of the Mesozoic Figures Are Returning

One of the biggest announcements of Episode 34 was the return of several previously released Beasts of the Mesozoic figures.

But these aren’t simply straight reissues.

Several returning dinosaurs are receiving updates based on improvements introduced throughout the line. These include new articulation and other upgrades such as updated elbows, ankles, wire tails, display stands, and refreshed packaging for figures originally released as part of family sets.

The returning assortment is being targeted for the holiday season, with preorders expected to open after the Acro Wave arrives.

This gives newer collectors another opportunity to pick up dinosaurs that have been unavailable while giving longtime fans the option of adding updated versions to their collections.

More Cyberzoic Figures and Armor Are on the Way

There was plenty of Cyberzoic news as well.

Wave B2 armor and riders are expected to reach the warehouse soon, while the team also showed paint samples and packaging development for upcoming Wave C2 releases.

The livestream provided a closer look at how the Cyberzoic armor systems continue to evolve, including armor configurations, transforming features, translucent elements, weapons, and connections to the expanding Cyberzoic story.

The team is currently working toward getting the newer releases out before the end of the year, although some could move into early 2027 depending on production.

Celebrating 10 Years of Beasts of the Mesozoic

Episode 34 also marked another major milestone: 10 years of Beasts of the Mesozoic.

To celebrate, Creative Beast revealed the new Beasts of the Mesozoic 10th Anniversary Dinosaur Field Guide Poster.

The enormous illustrated guide brings together the dinosaur color designs from the first ten years of Beasts of the Mesozoic, arranged alphabetically and presented in scale.

It also includes checklist-style footprints that collectors can mark as they build their own BotM collections.

The poster is available in 18″ × 24″ and a massive 36″ × 48″ version.

New formation-themed Field Guide shirts were also revealed, featuring dinosaurs associated with formations such as Hell Creek, Dinosaur Park, and Yixian.

More Beasts of the Mesozoic and Cyberzoic Coming in 2027

And, of course, the team saved another surprise for the end of the show.

A new large dinosaur was teased as the first ornithopod planned for the line, giving collectors another glimpse at what Creative Beast has in store for 2027.

Additional Cyberzoic creatures are also planned for next year, complete with their own armor sets, while the upcoming Appalachasaurus is planned to include Cyron from the Cyberzoic comics.

Between Spinosaurus, the upcoming T. rex assortment, new Cyberzoic releases, returning BotM favorites, and more prehistoric species in development, there’s already a lot to look forward to.

What’s Next for Creative Beast?

Creative Beast LIVE Episode 34 was one of the most update-packed episodes yet.

The Woolly Mammoth and Cyberzoic Utahraptor are returning to stock, new Cyberzoic armor releases are approaching, remaining Jungle Saber and Atomic Allosaurus stock is coming to the website, Acro Wave fulfillment is approaching, and the returning Beasts of the Mesozoic assortment is planned for the holiday season.

Looking further ahead, preorders for the upcoming Beasts of the Mesozoic T. rex wave are currently planned for January, with fulfillment targeted for around February.

And with new dinosaurs already being teased for 2027, there’s much more still to come.
