Chasmosaurus belli (Opening lizard) Length: up to 4.8m (15.7ft) long Location: Dinosaur Park Formation, Alberta Time period: Late Cretaceous 76.5 m.y.a. Named By: Lawrence Lambe – 1902, renamed in 1914 Chasmosaurus belli was a Chasmosaurine of average size. The meaning of its name, ‘Opening Lizard’, refers to the large openings, or fenestras, on its frill….

A look at just one of the Beasts of the Mesozoic: Tyrannosaur Series prototypes in the works right now- here’s the part separation for Gorgosaurus giving an idea of how the head articulation will function. Sculpting by Jake Baardse and part separation by Aaron Doyle.
